An Ecstasy of Fumbling

Slick pitwork is the key to success at Le Mans, arguably more important than outright speed on the track. All the teams use every opportunity to rehearse their routines, so that the whole process becomes seamless.

This is the part of the job that the fans do not see, nor truly appreciate, but it is nonetheless vital.
