The shots on that post came from Fiskens, and I am not an expert on 50’s Aston Martins so cannot comment onn your points. One thing that I did not mention is that you can use any material on DDC for your faceBook page as long as you attribute back to DDC………………

You have a better pic of the Rod Carveth era of this Aston DB3S than I, but I am thinking it was repainted in some cream color later on. I have a pic or two, but I am neither the photog nor the chronicler of the time and place of the photos to be making any sort or authoritative statement. Chuck Weiss, a contemporary racer, might know for sure.
