So sad to hear this. I met Soames and the family from 1987 to 1989 when I lived in Surrey and worked with his sister, Samantha at Computations. Would love to get in touch with Samantha again. Mary (was Kelly) from Sydney Australia

I knew Soames & his family. It’s only now I found out he passed away.
A wonderful person, full of life. He enjoyed life to the full doing what he loved and he did his best. Love to his mom Elisabeth and his sisters. Wonderful to have met you all.

I have only just read the obit for Soames. I find it so hard to believe that he lost his life so tragically young as indeed did his father Steven before. Liz and Steve were good friends of ours in the 60s and 70s, I was a bridesmaid at their wedding and I believe I am the godmother to the firstborn Amanda. If you are able Liz or family I would love to hear from you.
