Perhaps there are some out there who enjoy the paint job more than the car, but in the process a perfectly good classic car has been reduced to speckled, striped, shiny, chromey thing. And then there are those who install electronic gizmos in the suspension so that when the driver wants to impress, he simply pushes a button and the car begins a crazy, dislocated type of dance as the front end and back end perform some embarrassing (if you are a car) routine. But then I guess that might be useful if you have to negotiate a whole lot of sleeping policemen on the way home. The impractical bit is that some of these cars are so low that they would be of no real use on our pot hole-infested roads in the UK.
