We stopped by a couple of days before the Indycar race again and he explained the whole sleeve valve concept to us. Plus I got to see one of the Tatras drive out.

The 810 was never offered in supercharged form, but 812 was available with either the Lycoming FC supercharged V-8 or the Lycoming FB unsupercharged V-8. Some owners had superchargers and their distinctive side-pipes fitted to their 810’s, although the FB had a different firing-order and camshaft design.

What an interesting collection! Nice reference to Leon Blum (with his big grey moustache and pince-nez) rolling through Paris in the Art-Deco Panhard.
